Herbal Medicine: The Medicinal Treasure trove of Time

Treasure is something nearly everyone seeks, knowing the potential for it to get you what you want, something that allows you to be in places you want to be. But wealth is not always what is commonly perceived to be, have you heard of the term "health is wealth"? This is possibly the best form of wealth there is after spiritual health. How can you enjoy your life if you are disabled by diseases? its not very simple to just buy your health back. Healing is a journey and healthy living is an investment for a more fulfilling life. If you can achieve health and wellbeing, and realize its importance, then you have found treasure.

Medicine is something that has been around for a long time, although it's my strong belief that Prevention and Wellness has been around much longer than medicine. Medicine is something that is given to someone that ails, someone who is in need of a solution to their health problems. Looking into history, the eating habits and traditions of peoples, you can deduce that disease occurs frequently and is more common in peoples who have strayed too far away from nature and that the early peoples and their practices helped them prevent health problems.

Convenience is no doubt something many of us need sometimes, on the other hand it is most often times abused by some, a lot of people take things for granted and are accustomed to complaining about almost anything that doesn't suit their taste. certain levels of conveniences gave rise to a host of different sicknesses, being lazy as a result of extreme convenience can cause us not to use our body as much which puts us into a vulnerable position, exposing us to many different diseases. Convenience is not bad, but abusing it is a different story. The use of Herbal medicine is not always a convenient thing, partially this is why some people aren't into this form of healing. The culture of abusing convenience and the "instant" mentality is doing something to our health like it has never done before, but I will leave this up to you to decide what those are.

Herbal and Traditional medicines are ingrained in different peoples and traditions, and has been practiced for thousands of years. A wealth of knowledge can be gained if we begin to value the use of herbal medicines in our lives.

The long and rich history of herbal medicine use, reveals to us its importance and realisations that it truly is a treasure trove of time.
